RENEWED – Manhattan – Season 2

The period drama gets a second season renewal.
WGN America have renewed their new scripted series Manhattan for another season.

After they finished up airing the show’s first season, the network have decided to renew it for season 2.

Set in 1943, Manhattan follows the residents of a secret town of Los Alamos, New Mexico. Hidden away by the federal government, scientists live there with their families while they work to build the world’s first atomic bomb.

While it hasn’t been a rating winner with only roughly 420,000 average viewers each week, WGN America are new to producing their own scripted series, and it seems they have faith in the program.

Manhattan season 2, will likely be back in next July sometime.
