RENEWED – Bones – Season 11

The long-running crime procedural will be coming back for more.

FOX have renewed their popular drama Bones for an eleventh season.

The rating have been dropping for the series in recent years.

The 10th season is averaging 5.42 million viewers thus far, which is a 17% decline from the ninth season.

There were rumours of the tenth season being the last for Bones, as the two leads David Boreanaz and Emily Deschanel’s contracts were expiring, but they have made a new agreement.

There will be new showrunners to replace the current Stephen Nathan. The new showrunners will be executive producer Jonathan Collier and co-executive producer Michael Peterson.

Bones revolves around a married couple who use their skills as an FBI agent (David Boreanaz) and a forensic anthropologist (Emily Deschanel) to solve difficult cases. The show’s cast also includes Michaela Conlin, TJ Thyne, Tamara Taylor, and John Francis Daley.
