CANCELLED – Constantine – Season 1

The supernatural drama gets the axe. But it may not be dead just yet.

NBC have cancelled their new comic book themed series Constantine after one season.

Constantine averaged 3.34 million viewers over it’s 13 episode first season.

Since NBC have cancelled the series, it can be now shopped around to other networks and talk is the The CW may be interested in picking up the DC Comics based show.

The CW is part owned by Warner Bros. and Constantine is owned by Warner Bros. aswell so it could be a nice pairing.

Although The CW has 3 other DC Comics themed shows premiering next year, the schedule might be too full for the network to take on Constantine aswell.

Constantine revolves around the travels and work of John Constantine (Matt Ryan), an occult detective. He tries to help the innocent though his soul is already damned to hell. Others in the cast are Harold Perrineau, Charles Halford, and Angelica Celaya.
