Minority Report close to getting the axe?

FOX have cut the number of episodes of the first season of Minority Report.

The initial first season order was 13 episodes that FOX had ordered, but they have now cut the episodes down to 10.

Low ratings are due to the trim down. The premiere only managed 3.1 million viewers and viewers have been dropping off for the second and third episode.

It seems unlikely that the Sci-Fi drama will be renewed for a second season.

Set in Washington D.C. 2065, Minority Report follows Lara Vega (Meagan Good), a homicide detective who becomes connected with Dash (Stark Sands). He’s a psychic “precog” who’s haunted by images of future crimes and is on a mission to stop them from happening. The rest of the cast includes Nick Zano, Laura Regan, Wilmer Valderrama, Daniel London, Li Jun Li, Zhane Hall, and Tina Lifford.
